Push and rotate the cartridge until it snaps into the clip. If you are having trouble you can use a pair of pliers or purchase the new MoonSetter Loading Tool in the On-Line Store.

The cartridge should rotate within their respective place and wobble slightly when all cartridges are loaded.

Starline Brass What brand of brass works best in your .025 Thick - Full Moonclips?

Starline Brass works the best with the .025 thick Full Moonclips, which fit the 627x8 and the 686x7. They allow the cartridges to have some movement or wiggle so that they will fall right into the chambers once properly aligned. Federal or Remington may work also but, Winchester brass does not work at all as the groove width is too tight/small.

What brand of brass works best in your .022 Thick - Full Moonclips?

Federal or Remington work good with the 627x8, but Winchester brass may or may not work properly, as the groove width may be too tight/small.
